    NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sun Valley Wellness Festival & Conference to Host 2020 Event in Downtown Ketchum

Argyos Performing Arts Center, Limelight Hotel, Forest Service Park, & Washington Ave to Serve as the Wellness Path

The Sun Valley Wellness Festival & Conference (SVWFC), widely recognized as the longest-running wellness festival in the world, announces a move to downtown Ketchum for its 2020 event, taking place June 26-29.  SVWFC will utilize the Argyros Performing Arts Center, the Limelight Hotel, Forest Service Park and Washington Avenue and envisions the use of these adjoining locations as the SVWFC Wellness Path.

SVWFC Board President Andria Friesen said, “This exciting move is being made to take advantage of the extraordinary new facilities in Ketchum and to accommodate the space needs of the expanding event. While we immensely enjoyed our past two years at The Community School, change is continuing as our well-received programming and new June event date have created the need for a larger footprint. The Argyros Performing Art Center, the Limelight Hotel, and the Forest Service Park are in many ways the pulse of our community.  The Argyros will be used for featured and key speakers. The Limelight will accommodate SVWFC speakers, visiting attendees and serve as SVWFC Headquarters. The Limelight Lounge will feature the SVWFC In-Sight Stage which offers, free and open to the public, brief lectures and Q&A from our presenters.  And Forest Service Park and Washington Avenue will be transformed into the SVWFC Experience Park with vendors lining the perimeter, movement classes in the center, and music throughout.”

The Festival has hosted speakers among the world’s greatest thought-leaders on wellness and is an anticipated annual event attracting attendees from around the nation. The 23rd annual event will feature a content rich program with over 50 presentations, workshops, and movement classes by top wellness experts addressing diverse aspects of body, mind, spirit, and environmental wellness. The SVWFC also offers a Movement Studio, Experience Park, The In-Sight Stage, film screenings, music, and more.

SVWFC passes will go on sale online December 3rd at www.sunvalleywellness.org. Special lodging rates and a 20% discount on Festival passes (valid with a confirmed lodging reservation) will be offered by the Limelight Hotel in Ketchum.

Major 2020 SVWFC sponsors include Spirituality & Health, Limelight Hotel, Wild Tonic, Blue Farm Wines, Friesen Gallery, and Rising Springs.
